When it comes to exercise classes, yoga is hands down my favorite. I love the combination of spiritual and physical well being that I am able to achieve at the end of just an hour of practice. I walk taller, I breathe slower, and I feel better. Unfortunately, my current schedule doesn't allow for much time on the mat, even though that probably means I need it most. So, for all those days when you just can't make it to the studio, check out calm.com instead. As a website and app, calm.com is catered toward helping you achieve a state of zen, simply by selecting a setting (rain, beach, etc), plugging in your headphones, and listening. My favorite part is that it allows you to select your relaxation time limit, dependent on your schedule--either 2, 10, or 20 minutes--during which calming noises and instructions are given to help you achieve a couple moments of mental clarity. For the fellow yogi--think shavasana in your work chair/subway bench. It is awesome. So what are you waiting for go and get your calm on--you've earned it.
