CRIBS: MAISON GRAY

First things first--sorry for the radio silence last week.  I spent an absolutely wonderful long weekend in NYC with some of my favorites and found myself with little time for blogging.  But, now that I've re-energized the creative juices, I'm here this week with some amazing finds, the first being the work of Gray Malin.

For those of you unfamiliar, Gray is a Dallas born photographer who first started selling his work at a stand at the Melrose Fairfax Flea Market in 2009.  Since then, his photos have been featured in various publications worldwide for their iconic content and vivid colors.  While all of his art is unique, my personal favorites come from the a la plage collection--photos taken as Gray traveled around the world in a doorless helicopter, capturing aerial views of the greatest most revered beaches.  As you all know, I have been going to the beach in Amagansett/East Hampton with my family for the last 15 years, so I was absolutely thrilled to snag the above print of the area (on sale!) from One King's Lane earlier this month.  Isn't it beautiful? I'm currently on the hunt for a frame but I can't wait to give it prominent placement in my home as a permanent tribute to my most favorite place on earth.  Love live the summertime!
