If you've read my past few "whips" posts, it should come as no surprise that I am obsessed with vintage Toyota Landcruisers.  Ever since I first saw one at the beach in Amagansett, NY eight years ago it has been my dream to own one of these SUVs.  Sure, they're relatively impractical in certain situations, like my current 30 minute, highway dominate work commute, but that doesn't mean I can't obsess about owning one at some point down the road (pun intended).  I mean it would be the perfect future beach car to go with my perfect future beach cottage.  So when I recently saw the bottom green beauty nestled in the side streets of German Village, Columbus I audibly squealed with excitement and demanded that my friend Caitlin pull over the car so I could snag a photo.  I even left this small note on the dash, expressing my adoration for their vehicle and telling them if they were ever interested in selling to call me.  But seriously.  A girl can dream, right?

  1. You have guts to leave that note, Christin! But I do have to agree that there's something very appealing about a vintage Land Cruiser. The fact that the model is known for being reliable and durable is pretty telling that, even though it's older, it'll be worth having it despite having high mileage. Here's to hoping you get the car of your dreams soon. Thanks for sharing!
