Recently I've really been trying to up my reading game (see #9--I just finished book six, Pillars of the Earth) but always find myself overwhelmed with options.  There are just too many books to choose from and not enough quality recommendations to aid in the decision making process.  That is why I am so enthralled by the idea of the Little Free Library, an organization founded with the intent of promoting "literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide."  You simply rig up one of these little library houses (you can use your own construction or purchase one of theirs), place some of your favorite books inside, and spread the world, encouraging your neighbors to "take a book, return a book."

I know the idea might be a little far-fetched for those of us living in dorms or large apartment complexes (myself included), but I loved the concept too much not to share.  It's just such great way to find your next read. Now--check out some of my favorite 'libraries' below, search for any in your area, and please, feel free to send any good book recommendations my way.  Oh, and Happy National Library Week!!
